Your session will begin with a consultation to assess your skin type, hair texture, and treatment goals. During the consultation you will offered a patch test to ensure that there is no adverse reaction. During the treatment phase, a handheld devise delivers a targeted laser energy to the hair follicles, causing them to gradually stop growing over time. Sessions are generally quick, lasting 15-60 minutes depending on the area being treated. Multiple sessions are recommended for long lasting results.
Laser hair removal is suitable for individuals looking for long-term reduction on unwanted hair. All of our systems can be used on areas including face, underarms, arms, hands, hair line, legs, feet, chest, abdomen, back, buttocks and bikini line.
The treatment is generally well-tolerated. You may feel a quick pinging sensation or a gradual build up of subtle heat, depending which laser is being used. All of our lasers have built in cooling systems to help sooth the skin. Any discomfort is brief and minimal.
There is little to no downtime. Treated areas may appear slightly red or feel warm for a few hours after treatment, but subsides quickly. We recommend to stay out of the sun or use a high protection SPF post treatment. We do not recommended heat treatments and to avoid hot showers or baths for 24 hours.
